Even the ones, you don’t understand.

Forge ahead as, if leading somewhere.

Beneath the surface, it awaits discovery.

Sometimes the edges, will draw blood.

Prick your spirit, sinking into depression.

Finding yourself trapped, in dark mine.

Hard to breathe, no way out.

It seems so, but truly isn’t.

Inside your heart, lies the answer.

May be bruised, doesn’t give up.

Deep within tunnel, ray of hope.

Lights the way, to better days.

Just keep going, never giving up. 

Feel the warmth, of days ahead.

It is not, beyond your reach.

Walk toward the, light of happiness.

You may stumble, along the way.

Miss a step, or many more.

Take a breather, as is needed.

That is okay, part of life.

Do not get, angry at yourself.

Dust yourself off, need start over.

Even pinch yourself, for good luck. 😃

At tunnel’s opening, see the daylight.

Made it through, another 24 hours.

In your hand, holding a stone.

With time polishes, into a diamond.

So too this, describes my life.

Two marriages that, didn’t work out.

All alone with, nowhere to go.

About to make, mistake number three.

Be “used” again, then met Steve.

Knew right away, he’s the one!

When he asked, I said yes.

Because of past, recognized a gem. 😃

Coming up on, year number two.

My life is, full of happiness.

Hand in hand, we’re always together.
