MOVIES affect our lives, believe it or not.

Can be positive or, invites in something else.

Important as picking friends, who decide bring home.

Please think about it, when deciding which one.

Can even help discover, if two belong together.

I think back now, how this would’ve helped.

When with someone who, liked disgusting horror movies.

The whole time I’m, covering eyes plugging ears.

Would have saved me, from those 22 years.

Guess needed the experience, known to be stubborn.

Now I’ve reached today, and I’m in sync.

With a wonderful man, to whom am married.

In our first year, watched lots of movies.

Right off found that, we like the oldies.

As the young ones, would certainly label them.

We watch at home, so we can cuddle.

  

Enjoying peace and quiet, just him and me.

Laughing or crying depending, on the movie watching.

For each other there, whatever might be needed.

Providing comforting arms or, tickling fingers as playful.

Movies tell stories that, may bring back memories.

Can lead to conversation, or simply quiet reflection.

Together beginning to end, both enjoying the time.

Movies is not all, that have in common.

We like same music, the oldies our pick.

Year two concert year, not getting any younger.

Not a surprise that, same music in movies.

Perhaps reliving our teens, we got the spunk.

2019 soon upon us, plans for year three.

Not telling you here, we have not decided.

Thinking of staying home, more movies to watch.

More books to read, nature all around us.

What I do know, will be spending together.

We would not have, it any other way.

Together we are complete, and together very happy. Married to wonderful man, enjoys being with me!
