MIRACLE is life, at it’s best. 

Our prayer helps, it take shape. 

In the meantime, taking baby steps. 

Getting up after, every surprise fall. 

Never know when, extra assistance comes. 

With smile welcome, and keep going. 

As we grow, new things grasp. 

Even though never, seems to last. 

Through trying times, may be rebellious. 

Even reject guidance, along the way. 

Those times do, come and go. 

Sometimes need a, kick in pants. 

MIRACLE pops up, on its own.

When recognizes your, true heart’s desire. 

Is reflected in, thoughts and actions. 

Matches what it, sees for you. 

Also works on, a larger scale. 

Like our nation, out of adolescence. 

Went through those, tough teenage years. 

Now being asked, if functioning okay?

Looks like might, be having stroke. 

So much confusion, a crooked smile. 

Can’t lift arm, to help another. 

Many out there, trying to change. 

MIRACLE perhaps too, much ask for?

2016 new people, wanted something different.

They felt ignored, so voted accordingly.

Were sure Trump, just like them. 

Now “his base”, clearly supports him.

Easily swayed by, hatred and fear.

If Trump has, his way today.

Our nation indeed, hits the bottom.

Tomorrow closer to, idea direction going.

Did the young, get the message?

That affects them, what’s decided today.

Came out to vote, have their say?

MIRACLE out there, sure could use.

It all depends, who’s in majority. 

What lies deep, within their hearts? 

I pray and, hope good survives.
