Peers inside, while words being spoken.

With patience, waits for the revelation. 

Like painter, encourages each brush stroke. 

A gift, wish all did have.

Even so, it can be learned.

By those, indeed who truly care. 

Their time, willingly share with another.

It requires, face to face interaction. 

Set down, the phones and tablets. 

Find place, without noises or distractions.

Remove all, there to offer interpretations. 

Let this, be exchange of ideas. 

Without interrupting, let person talking finish. 

Everyone will, have chance to speak. 

This is, how it is done. 

If you, truly care about outcome. 

Especially when, representative of another group. 

Too big, to be there themselves. 

Remembering that, is not about you. 

Compromise is, not a bad word. 

When all, parties involved equally participate. 

A win/win, because everyone did benefit. 

A solution, proud to take home. 

Whether many, or one to one...

The skill, needed is to listen. 

Seems lost, from bottom to top. 

Letting machines, make all the decisions. 

Avoiding confrontation, with Twitter and Instagram. 

Taking away, freedom of the press. 

Avoiding questions, based on skin color. 

Appointing those, who agree with you. 

LISTEN to, the words “he” uses. 

Meant to, increase fear and incite. 

Stated “he”, indeed will tone down.
