HOPE is eternal, I’ve heard. 

Is when turn, to prayer. 

Knowing that answer, lies there. 

Within bigger picture, of Universe

Important to trust, it’s true. 

Otherwise will drive, self crazy. 

Leads to acts, of desperation. 

Many a long, sleepless night. 

Much has hit, our nerves. 

That’s why on, high alert. 

The president extolling, racist views.

Keeping as option, the military.

Throughout history with, this excuse…

“In god’s name”, evil done. 

Their minds already, made up.

Genocide becomes the, means accomplish. 

Do not engage, in battle. 

What can do, is vote. 

After that breathe, very deeply.
