MOCKED selected people, very spiteful. 

Reveals a lot, about perpetrator. 

Willing to hurt, to degrade. 

In order get, his way. 

And many did, laugh along. 

Poor example of, their “beliefs”.

We’ve become mean, spirited people. 

Of which I, am ashamed. 

When did truth, become enemy?

That constantly lying, is acceptable?

Not even investigated, checked out?

Put into position, of authority?

It’s okay having, bad past. 

If one has, truly changed. 

To testify falsely, shows hasn’t. 

Character flaw lies, deep within. 

Money doesn’t change, how feel.

Remains victim to, self esteem. 

Sees always as, picked on. 

Didn’t grow out, of it. 

It just gets, passed down. 

From one generation, to another. 

To get over, therapy needed. 

But “too big”, to admit. 

So gets worse, and worse. 

Acts as if, is contagious. 

Pulls others out, from woodwork. 

Meaner and meaner, becomes norm. 

Will take a, powerful storm. 

To wash out, the nastiness. 

Followed by an, extensive cleanup. 

Can be done, nature demonstrated. 

Elections just around, the corner. 

Storm of our, own making. 

After last one, need cleaning. 

Let’s get back, to bipartisanship!

Balance of power, claim again. 

If not, leads, to extremes. 

Which walk away, from democracy. 

That’s not what, we want!
