BUSINESS runs it’s, natural course. 

All about getting, the profit.  

Morals are of, no value. 

Just get in, the way. 

Or that’s how, some operate. 

Avoid regulations whenever, it’s possible. 

Lobby for legal, inventive loopholes. 

Quite ruthless and, disregard others. 

Government isn’t business, as usual. 

It’s about people, not profit. 

Meeting their needs, and nation’s. 

In cost effective, efficient way. 

Just to name, a few...

Security, transportation, education, and healthcare. 

Justice, environmental, welfare, and more. 

A system that, truly cares. 

It all requires, a balance. 

Accounting of revenue, and cost. 

Ensuring is “fair”, to everyone. 

Not rich richer, poor poorer. 

USA a nation, with heart. 

Sets us apart, from some. 

Up until now, it has. 

Now some rocking, the boat. 

Taking away programs, not “entitled”. 

Allowing prisons, insurers and pharmaceuticals...

To grossly profit, harming citizens. 

Government protect us, not them!

Why can lobbyists, campaigns donate?

Buying favors most, certainly are!

Conflict of interest, most definitely. 

Should be stopped, why not?

The “plain” should, be leveled. 

So best person, actually wins. 

That all candidates, are equal. 

Money doesn’t play, in equation. 

Besides put to, better use. 

Those “donors” dollars, feed poor. 

Go towards research, breast cancer. 

Or some other, good deed. 

When business with, foreign company...

More important than, human rights...

No excuse is, good enough. 

Have “best weapons, from us?

How many times, done this...

Used against us, they did?

How much longer, must pick...

The lesser of, two evils?

Now we have, leaders who...

Support them instead, of us. 

Or the allies, we trust. 

Something doesn’t seem, quite right. 

Democracy is not, a business

It’s not up, for sale. 

I say it, once more. 

Get out there, and vote!!!
