ABUSER is persistent, never changes. 

Feels has right, to incite. 

Believes “better than”, “his” prey. 

Has them where, “he” wants. 

Many blind to, “his” ways. 

The one abused, outwardly ignored. 

When brought up, surly deserved. 

That “he’s” wrong, won’t admit. 

They listen to, “his” stories. 

A one-sided conversation, take in. 

All sounds good, why question. 

Gets done what , they want. 

They’re on merry-go-round, “he” controls. 

It’s time to, get off. 

Stop going for, golden ring. 

Out of reach, always be. 

They too believe, “his” lies. 

That only “he”, can fix...

What’s wrong with, “his” base.

Not recognizing “he’s”, the problem. 

Treating them as, if stupid. 

In the process, making so. 

Slowly turning them, into abusers. 

Low self esteem, like “him”. 

It’s time to, break free. 

To see what, “he’s” done. 

No longer will, adhere to. 

Take new and, different path. 

Out there waiting, for you.
