VIOLENCE expresses imbalance, in world.
Rich getting richer, poor poorer.
Those who have, want more.
Those without basics, appreciate anything.
Exists enough to, go around.
That don’t share, so profound.
Why not is, the question.
No one bothers, think about.
“What’s in it, for me?”
Those who have, do ask.
When unable to, get readily.
The easy answer, use force.
Many institutions may, teach differently.
Speak of love, and equality.
Without the means, help happen.
Or merely hypocrites, in disguise.
This world full, of chaos.
Fighting for control, governments and regimes.
Making false promises, that care.
Know what’s best, for all.
Fighting the enemies, “out there”.
Sending the young, into battle.
“Divide and conquer”, the cry!
Has it worked, so far?
Using “labels” as, their excuses.
Let’s remind ourselves, of some.
Democracy versus communism, for one.
White versus black, for another.
More “reasons” keep, pouring in.
Religion versus religion, can’t forget.
Been going on, for ages.
Talk of change, do we?
So far just, all rhetoric.
The way to, get elected.
Puppets attached to, many strings.
All with agenda, benefitting “them”.
Known by their, identities too.
Lobbyists, corporations, those, with money.
Those with power, do rule.
Not the majority, as taught.
Spit out slogans, carefully drafted.
Designed to fool, the many.
The “swamp” just, gets swankier.
The ones to, “lock up”.
Helps them win, our prejudices.
Wanting to be, “like them”.
Let us flatten, the curve.
Advantage of money, and connections.
Focus on who, to represent.
The people of, everyday life.
You and me, that’s who!
Needs of many, not few.
Food, shelter, covering, and health!!!
No one exception, remember that.
Not an “entitlement”, but fact.
All of us, are human.
“Survival of “fittest”, frankly Bullshit!
Not “Law of, the Jungle”
Get a grip, on “reality”.
