MIDNIGHT the hour, of decision. 

Full of promise, day begins. 

Time when won’t, disturb others. 

Able to focus, not distracted.

Those outside wall, “of power”.

Review the day, what’s happening. 

Trying make sense, write about. 

Can read again, as need. 

Clearly seeing thoughts, on paper. 

A definite pattern, does arise. 

Still vital that, get sleep. 

Have the strength, for day. 

Individually can’t change, simple truth. 

Nation understood importance, of United. 

Notice past tense, how sad. 

Must stand united, once again!

Behind closed doors, lights on. 

“History” being written, read tomorrow. 

Tweet by tweet, reactive rage.  

Spits out relentlessly, any time. 

Doesn’t accept criticism, even “constructive”.

What afraid of, not perfect (?)

We are at, “midnight hour”.

Must correct “madness”, before takeover!
