CHERISH our way, of life. 

Not all do, wonder who?

That has become, the question. 

Things seem right, but not. 

Purposely being divided, into groups. 

Selectively pitting one, against another. 

“Fine people on, both sides”.

Just the way, it is. 

Climate sacrificed for, “good economy”. 

Excluding immigrants for, “national security”. 

Reducing taxes, but rich, get more. 

Attacking first amendment, yet denying. 

“If impeached” supporters, are blamed.  

Implying after all, assuredly innocent. 

One of those, “fine people”.

Who has done, nothing wrong. 

Middle class shrinking, wages low. 

Healthcare unaffordable and, not available. 

Wants a $25 billion, southern wall. 

All this hard, to swallow.

Nation of billionaires, and millionaires. 

Along with the, “comfortable rich”.

Number of poor, is growing. 

Claim “their fault”, not true. 

For one campaign, $100,000,000 spent. 

Even if wins, a loss. 

Most represented will, never see. 

Quality of life, just sucks. 

Most willingly accept, the scraps. 

Even at cost, to needy. 

Not much left, to cherish. 

To be alive, a burden. 

Amongst the young, suicides up. 

Doesn’t that tell, us something?

Humanity has displaced, it’s morality. 

Sticking to their, needs only. 

I guess WWJD, just fad. 

Today’s elected leaders, not asking. 

Neither the evangelicals, quite obvious.

What’s their beliefs, “based” on?

Could go on, and on. 

Got point across, I hope?

Unfortunately not likely, know why?

Only listening to, “their side”.
