DESIRE is like homing device, on ship lost at sea.
Needing to connect with beacon, find way back safe harbor.
Returning from a long journey, in search of hidden treasures.
Only to realize false gold, true gems never left shore.
Like sending pulse outer space, waiting for response bounce back.
Wanting to connect one same; mind, body, soul and spirit.
Even if signal is weak, don’t give up keep trying.
Once found keep steady course, never take for granted anything.
When arrive and set anchor, know work only just started.
Need scrub top to bottom, getting rid of settled gunk.
Alongside comes another wanting connection, extend the welcoming plank happily.
All while keep tip-top, as waves always a tossing.
Don’t’ want to break apart, because distractions knocked at door.
Do this Light always there, love enveloping your heart forever.
Be spiritual or love life, what needs done the same.
Really not at all complicated, faith in Creation and Mankind.
See beyond the onion layers, yours and those around you.
Beauty at core for all, goodness in some barely touched.
Should in this lifetime discover, who feeling so in sync.
Count blessing one by one, each and every day nonstop.
