(E)ffort…

ACCEPTANCE knocks at door, while trying to exit.

Had enough being nice, getting hit in face.

So tired and exhausted, removing compromise from vocabulary.

What do not know, is problem goes with.

Not the other person, they just the catalyst.

Still wearing sly ego, slinking in the background.

As long as ignore, will continue to rule.

Does everything so don’t, stare in face acknowledge.

So hard to admit, you’re not in control.

Time to change this, means awareness 24/7.

Pay attention to reactions, immediate one or waited?

First belongs to ego, second after careful observation.

Then take further step, be proactive plan ahead.

Learn from poor choices, note don’t do again.

Seeing things as are, beyond the five senses.

Becomes easier to receive, to have more compassion.

Realize some people situations, way beyond any understanding.

Unable to ever comprehend, don’t waste time trying.

Forget about fixing others, in charge own transformation.

Will keep busy enough, requiring all you have.

Sooner you get this, life runs little smoother.

The light within darkness, seem bit more pronounced.

Lighten the load carrying, letting bygones be bygone!
