ENGAGE isn’t battle, looking for conflict.

However it is, meeting directly on.

Can only accomplish, head on straight.

Do the work, gets you there.

Make the connections, which give strength.

Truly takes village, when venturing out.

Safe place return, worn to frazzle.

Doesn’t hold back, when being lazy.

Or in denial, gives necessary push.

That’s real love, wants what’s best.

Understands that sometimes, appear left behind.

Is still loved, different paths taking.

Ego our opponent, must look inside.

Time take down, inch by inch.

Sometimes is best, none else around.

Give self space, focus and rejuvenate.

Others see as, all about self.

Indeed not untrue, times must be.

If too much, decision to make.

Stay the course, or move on.

Each must decide, what need do.

Hang in there, for the long haul.

Or part ways, perhaps later reconnecting.

To maybe even, completely letting go.

Don’t be afraid, keeping intentions pure.

Better for it, that’s a promise.
