require be prepared.

Received training when young, 

played as game.

Who knew would be,

absolutely critical now.

Protective of friends and, 

very special grandpa.

Life would be hard, 

without him there.

Doing what thinks right, 

even though mislead.

Now three of them, 

staying the course.

Out of the blue, 

someone following them.

It's time to hide, 

run when can.

Will make it home (?),

that's the question.

You'll be with them, 

not going anywhere.

This story surprised me, 

couldn't put down!
