THE WILD BLUE, in perfect state warms the heart and soul.
Free to soar, take in all that nature has to offer.

But then war, requires much more of humanity than such simplicity.
To become pilot, that flies to win and bring back peace...

Not easy task, must be brave and willingly a sacrifice make.
The stories here, within this book takes us to the front.

First the training, has to be shortened as needed out there.
A plane assigned, along with a critical crew of specialized men.

Fly it low, bombs away or high to protect those fellows.
Everyone's at risk, so fly in formation or a specialized group.

To fly solo, is so dangerous that try not to do.
Coming to target, flak designed to take as many planes possible.

So in conjunction, army-navy-air were all needed to win.
Here we see, how the pilots and crew bonded into one.

After the war, some still flew and others just moved on.
Lots of detail, covered in this book so pick it up!
