EBook review: MERCY by MD Walker (Spellbound Book - Story 3)

Mercy is compassion, put to test.
Regardless what see, or been told.

Sometimes draw near, what most fear.
Friend or foe, before your eyes.

Label doesn't matter, blind to truth.
Manifesting before you, the final judgment.

Then moves on, where needed next.
Do not follow, best left alone.

NIGHTMARELAND an unknown, voluntarily entering.
Helped along with, an inducement.

Comes with warning, quite strong.
Won't be going, anywhere tonight.

Taking a ride,  come along.
Don't fight it, stay strong.

The world entering, hold doubts.
Afraid that just, won't like.

It's a journey, invited along.
From the safety, of home.

Both talked about, one feared the other dear.

Can't control either, one ignore the other explore.
One considered folklore, the other in fairytales.

One night enlightens, the life of another.
Where unimagined becomes,  reality right before them.

THE SECRETS WE KEEP, follow us wherever we go.
Held closely deep inside, just waiting to explode.

Sometimes will cross path, with another causing distraction.
Or perhaps even worse, complete devastation totally unwarranted.

With great sadness endure, closing doors locking in.
Someone knocking at door, can you hear it?

Safe to open up, dare to let in?
And indeed if do, impact bad or good?

Walk through this story, lives of these women.
Get to know them, understand fears and motivation.

Do we have secrets, holding us captive too?
If that's the case, know what to do?

EBook Review: DEVOUR by David Temple

DEVOUR reversed, is to slowly anticipate.
To wonder, when strike will come.

Then suddenly,  to wake up forgotten.
As if, now behind closed doors.

One accused, then sent to jail.
Another lost, amongst pills and mischief.

Set aside, the past and prosper.
So thought, until all brought together.

What's happening, who'll put pieces together?
Or maybe, better to leave alone?

Follow along, whoa watch your step.
Who is, coming up behind you?

Take time, to think it through.
The party, is about to begin!

STOP KILLING US, with your ignorance.
Please arm yourself, with knowledge and compassion.

Past lives on, seemingly repeats itself.
Why so blind, to another's agenda?

Hatred and divisiveness, continues to harm.
All in name, of "better than".

To justify atrocities, against another human.
Why let bully, run the show?

To align with, or do nothing?
Either choice inhumane, plays the game.

To be accepted, belong to group?
Keep the same, works for you?

Bring down who, they say to...
Black-Brown-Jew, names a few.

Killed over time, and time again.
Only "guilty" of, not like you.

Institutionalized superiority reigns, needs to resign!
Let's start over, with EVERYONE equal!

Build our systems, based on this.
Takes a majority, see it through.
